These lovely reindeer are from Stamps Away. The smaller two were covered with paper and then edged with co-ordinating ink/paint. The large deer was painted with black gesso then decorated using a Claritystamp stencil and Lustre Lux paints. It took a while to do the smaller paper decorated deer because to get a nice finish on the edges I stuck the paper on then sanded all around the edges until the excess paper came off. They sat on the piano over the Christmas period. They are now put away until Christmas this year. Perhaps I could waterproof them so they could sit outside near the front door. Some more photos of the reindeer are below.

AuthorHello, my name is Jennie. I have been crafting since I was a teenager and have always been interested in lots of different mediums. As an Occupational Therapist I have used arts and crafts as a therapy to assist people in their rehabilitation. I currently work doing demonstrations and make & takes on behalf of a craft supplier. I am available to do make & takes for events (e.g. children's birthday parties, WI meetings) and I also sell my PURRR products at local fairs. Archives
